CARRATRACA ATTRACTIONS:

Balneario (healing springs) on Calle Baños– is a neoclassical building, inside which there is a pavilion with Tuscan columns made of white marble – the symbol of Carratraca in the courtyard, with a ceramic tile base.The Nuestra Se ora de la Salud church, built in the early 19th century on the site of an 18th-century temple. It consists of 3 naves separated by semicircular arches resting on Tuscan columns. The church is topped with a neo-Mudéjar style wooden roof.The City Hall (Ayuntamiento), also known as the "Arab House", was once owned by Doña Trinidad Grund, who built it in 1885. It collapsed in 1963 and was restored along with the gardens in 1991.The bullring was put into operation in 1878, with 3,000 seats for spectators. It has at least 2 features: it is not round in shape, rather polygonal, and most of it is carved out of rock in this way the Greeks and Romans built their amphitheaters. With excellent acoustics, it hosts performances of the Passion of Christ (Pasión de Cristo) during Holy Week (Semana Santa).
