The Sails Bar is located in the heart of the island, in a palm grove, in the shade of spreading palm trees, creating an unusual tropical atmosphere. Lime Restaurant is open for breakfast with a rich buffet, a variety of hot and cold dishes and sparkling wine. The restaurant also offers light snacks, salads, tea, lunch, dinner and guests' favorite dishes throughout the day. In addition, light and healthy snacks are served at the Lime Restaurant on the pool side for a pleasant lunch in this unique surface pool with spectacular views over the blue lagoon, a wonderful side to see the famous Maldivian sunset. Cayenne Grill pavilions with roofs of palm branches located above the lagoon. Nooma

This traditional Maldivian 19-meter hand-made dhoni sailboat offers an unusual combination of luxury and, at the same time, an exciting sea voyage. Diving Center

Our 5-star Gold Palm PADI Diving Center with a qualified international team specializes in serving small groups, taking into account an individual approach.Baros Maldives stands for environmental awareness, and our diving center is dedicated to protecting reefs. The Baros Maldives Divers Center has been officially certified as the first Eco-diving center in the Maldives, and represents the international Reef Research project. The Reef Research Project is an internationally recognized marine data collection program that collaborates with various communities, government organizations and the business community. The program scientifically monitors, restores and maintains the condition and health of the reef around the world.

Marine Center

A marine biologist living on the island runs the Ocean Research Center as an information point where guests can learn all about the underwater world, as well as, together with a guide, take part in snorkeling excursions to the home reef area (for beginners or for those who have experience in snorkeling). The marine biologist also organizes some of the best snorkeling excursions in the Maldives. Coral transplant workshops are conducted in accordance with the program, allowing guests to learn about the reproductive process of coral restoration and participate in the conservation of reefs around Baros Maldives. The staff of the Ocean Research Center also conducts programs to familiarize themselves with the state of the environment and presentations about ocean life. The presentations include lectures on the Maldives' most interesting eco-system. The lecture "The beauty and diversity of the Maldives" invites guests to a video journey illustrating the life of the depths of the ocean and discovering visible and hidden treasures of the underwater world, ranging from the most primitive invertebrates to ocean predators. The lecture "Structure and Ecology of the Maldives" begins with a journey into the geological history of the Maldives atolls and islands.

Underwater discoveries

You can explore the underwater world of the ocean from all the Maldivian Islands, but Baros Maldives is a unique diving destination for several reasons. The hotel has two diving and ocean exploration centers: a diving center and an Ocean Exploration Center. Almost at the very shore (no need to get by boat) there is an amazing home reef with an exciting underwater life. 30 world-class diving sites can be reached by boat in less than 50 minutes. In our diving center, guests can not only learn diving, but also take part in eco-diving, as this is the first Eco-diving center in the Maldives. At the Ocean Exploration Center, you can rent snorkeling equipment for free, get information and participate in snorkeling excursions and familiarization programs conducted by a marine biologist living on the island.
